You will be required to complete one project for each of the 7 units. Below is a list of project ideas you can use. You must complete the project information form and get approval before beginning your project. Review the rubric as well for how the project will be graded.

​Advertisements: Create an poster "advertising" political concepts. In this project you would concentrate on persuasion techniques and imagery to show knowledge of the subject. ​

Album Covers: Create artwork for an album.  The album may be connected to a concept and should demonstrate or explain how that concept is used. Or the album cover may be connected to a concept and the art work might present pictures to explain the vocabulary terms and concepts. Pick a favorite album cover of yours and adapt it to a government concept! ​
Banners: Create an informational banner.  This could include a timeline of events, or brief descriptions of concepts and ideas and include visuals.

Blogs: Create a blog supporting a specific issue or reporting on an issue over a period of time. It can be real or fictional. You can comment on real events and issues which deal with topics we are currently studying.

Board games: Create board games where where the game review course concepts.  Game play should be based around answering review questions correctly and or informative game "spaces."

Booklets: Create an informational booklet on a specific topic. It should include color pictures/graphics and informational text.
Brochures: Brochures can be made as either tri-fold or bi-folds. Create informational brochure’s about concepts in the unit. Useful when covering events to describe a political concept. ​

Calendars: Create a calendar charting the dates of key events.  This can be applied to an historical event. The calendar can contain graphics and informational tex
Classified Ads:  Create Craigslist ads or Ebay listings.  Example applications include covering vocabulary words or examining figures in a political event. Try to sell a concept and give a listing and descriptions of the content. ​
Coat of Arms: Create a coat of arms for a political concept. Find pictures that symbolize the main parts of the concept. Remember, you are not making a personal coat of arms. Use government concepts only. Make sure you provide explanations for the pictures and images you have chosen.
​Collages: Create a collage or collection of images related to a topic.  Images can be hand drawn, printed, or clipped from a magazine or newspaper.  These work best with large thematic ideas and concepts. Labeling is a good idea as well. If you do not

Comic Strips or Books: Create an illustrated comic strip or book representing a concept. It can be a fictional situation or a depiction of a real life event.

Dramas: Create a play. Write a script that details a concept or addresses an essential question. Create  a storyboard to go along with your script.
Facebook Page: Create a mock Facebook page for a political figure and/or concept. Use quotes and other pictures to explain the concept in a meaningful way.

Hieroglyphics: Create pictures that represent vocabulary words.  You can also tell a story using hieroglyphics.
Magazines: Create magazines covering large units of study. You can write an article and include pictures along with captions.
Menu: Create a menu. Use different headings to help describe the content in the vocabulary and ideas you are discussing.
Movie Poster: Create a movie poster. Show the names of the "actors" and some quotes describing something about your topic. Use multiple pictures and graphics throughout the poster
Newscasts: Deliver important information in the form of a newscast.  Newscast can be prerecorded and include editing and graphics.
Poems and Raps: write a poem or rap reviewing any topic.​
Posters: Create posters to review skills. Add graphics and information that helps review material in an organized manner.

Radio Broadcasts: create a script for a radio program covering any appropriate concept.
Soundtracks: Create a soundtrack for a your concept. Find songs that fit the concept and give explanations how they relate.
